Andrew S. May, Esq., President of May Law, PC, attended the National Futures Association’s (NFA) one-day workshops on March 2, 2010. The keynote address was given by Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Commissioner Michael Dunn. The topics included Commodity Pool Operator (CPO)/Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) regulation, disclosure to current and performance repository. The afternoon session covered pool reporting, sales practices and surviving an NFA audit.
“The sessions are invaluable into gaining insight as to how the regulators approach own their rules and regulations and different scenarios,” Mr. May said.
