On October 3, 2008, Andrew May was interviewed by Todd Santorelli with O Six Media on his thoughts on the global financial crisis and practicing in the futures and commodities law area during these turbulent times. The interview can be found at O Six Media's web site and was available across the globe.
SUMMER 2008
Andrew S. May, Esq., President of May Law, PC, attended the National Futures Association’s (“NFA”) two half-day workshops on May 19, 2008. The morning session covered promotional materials and the afternoon session covered compliance issues from the standpoint of smaller firms.
Mr. May stated, “The sessions are invaluable into gaining insight as to how the regulators view their rules and regulations.”
Andrew S. May, Esq., President of May Law, PC, attended the National Introducing Brokers Association’s Summer 2008 Conference on June 28, 2008 at the former location of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (“CME”) in Chicago. The topics and speakers focused on managed products, strategies for volatile markets and whether commodities were right for every investor.
According to Andrew, “It was great to see so many familiar faces, a former client and participate in the conference with so many quality introducing brokerage firms.”
